my ex and i broke up because a differences a month ago, but recently he told me he's afraid to let people close. Right now he's not talking to me and my friend because we were too close with him, but he's fine talking to the people he's not open with? We both care about him very much and want to prove to him that he can trust us and be open with us, but he wants us to forget about him. Should we forget about him and not care for him at all or just be patient with him?

You don't say how old you are but I'm gonna guess you're under 18. If he's being honest about this fear of his, then he's shared a tremendous burden with you.

So ask yourself: what if it were you? How would you want to be treated by someone that you had invested time and emotions into? Would you want them to "forget you"? or would you hope they'd stick by you and not give up?

He probably expects you to dump him/his friendship and so he's beating you to the punch by TELLING you to forget about him. If you do move on, he has prepared himself mentally and it won't hurt so much. If you don't move on but instead stick with him and continue to be his friend, you might be the one to help him begin to trust a little.

Don't expect miracles. The longest journey begins with the first step and all that, so just give what you're prepared to give, don't make demands and be appreciative of anything else that he's willing to share in the relationship. You'll need to manage your own expectations here, and if you decide to continue being chums, you have to be willing to do it long-term (in for a penny, in for a pound)

Each time he doesn't get hurt, he'll open up a little more. I'd bet money on it.

Good luck!

you mustn't be allowing the male close to those doggies or the mum. that's a think approximately time the place she is letting off hormones which will entice him to her returned. he will harm or maybe kill her doggies just to be waiting to mate together with her returned. He does no longer comprehend those are his doggies, he sees then because of the fact the enemy and could harm them. And while she has weaned those doggies get her spayed and end being a BYBer. Neuter him now.

I say be patient with him. In time he will let you in to talk to him. And maybe become friends again. But he needs his time to heal too.
