These are mine:

-Climate destruction, resulting in arable land disapearing, soil destruction, pollution of water, geological changes, floods, etc... and affecting our ability to live.

-Human degeneration. This does not only mean in attitude, but genetically as well. Body deformation (very slim, pathetic people) with quirky characteristics coming into light, same with the opposite-fat people.

-Nuclear holocaust. Terrorist nuking city, then taking others hostage to prevent US retaliation, or say, Russia nukes us by accident as it almost did when in 1995 it thought a test rocket near its borders was a ICBM breaking up and releasing thermonuclear bombs...accidentaly dropping by China, terrorist nuclear warfare, or crazy antics by say Kim Jong Ill..

which are yours?

In human degeneration, also add....lowering of IQ, which is a possibility, due to dygenics, lead posinging as well as other chemicals that may harm our cognitive functions further...and the worst of alll, apathy may lead as a result to lowre intelligence as intelligence weakens with time as the genes rewire themselves over your lifetime and simply because your head is a msucle...the less you use it, the less powerful it will be.

Those that are posted are those which I beleive are the worst for the future of mankind...not temporary genocidal wars, or middle east fuel wars...although they may precipitate economic meltdown.

I think the end will be caused by, some guy in a lab living with his parents.
They say that if you had a lab with $150000 worth of equipment.
You could create a biological weapon (virus) capable of destroying every living thing on the planet.
Now some of this equipment is being sold at government auctions.
I'm sure someone could do it a lot cheaper now.
Most of the other ideas that may Kill us off are solvable.

To add to human degeneration: deformities/genetic flaws arising from our continuous ingestion of incompatible chemicals in our food and exposure to pollutants in our environment. They pass government standards but the government obviously doesn't know what's best for its own people. This constant exposure to chemicals and pollutants at these considerable levels has only been around for a few decades and we can already see the degerative effects of them. Who knows what will happen from continued use for, say, over two hundred years?

Also, with the vast amounts of waste we produce yearly eventually we're going to run out of places to hide it all (which is what our waste management system is: Bury it. If we can't see it it can't upset us). If it is allowed to go on indefinitely the concentration of harmful crap in ever-growing landfill zones can't be good for any living thing.

Humankind has been aspiring to be machines for a few decades now, denying the fact that our bodies obey natural laws. I think eventually the effects of this abuse will become more and more apparent as toxins build up everywhere. But it doesn't matter what anyone says coz only time will tell.

even however i'm no longer a nonbeliever. I do comprehend the place your coming from, yet i do no longer think of it extremely is the religion that's risky it extremely is the folk who save on with it that are. i for my area see faith as some thing organic yet as quickly as an volatile guy or woman placed his or her palms on it they taint it to the factor that it turns into some thing risky and apprehensive. So it isn't the religion, it extremely is the followers. yet to respond to your question i think of they the two could be the two risky, by way of fact there is often that loopy loon(christan, jew or any faith for that count) which will take issues slightly too a techniques...(occasion:Hitler)

I feel the greatest danger is overpopulation. This is what is responsible for everything in your first paragraph. Diminishing land and resources, pollution of all kinds, climate change are all functions of population pressure. Whatever condition the world is in now, it got that way by being abused by people. More people means more abuse. It's that simple.

Shortages and complete loss of all that is necessary to survive.
A good example would be WATER; another would be food; still another would be land (California and New Orleans going underwater). I think a lot will be caused by natural disasters--though of course some will be our fault.

Rudeness. Selfishness. Ego. Thoughtlessness. Anger. Without these, you wouldn't even be asking this question. The question is, how do we eliminate these? I know... do you?

Humanity has always been the greatest danger to humanity. We destroy ourselves. We destroy the planet which in turn destroys us. We are our own worst enemy.
