You're opening a can of worms if you agree to this. Just tell them thanks, but no thanks.

Now today, marrying someone "is" the legal way. So that person who said it's not legal doesn't know nothing. How will you get caught? only if the time for the interview comes and you act nervous. But you will not get in trouble, the person you marry to, will get denied and face deportation. So its okay to marry and file for someone, but just act like you are married.

There are many ways to become a citizen of the U.S. Marriage is not the only way. You should marry for love and not in order to give someone citizenship.

Possible jail. Possible gigantic fine. Marrying someone just to give them citizenship is defrauding the government. It's also a lie. It's also immoral. It's just, plain, WRONG.
My advice? Don't do it. If this person wants to stay in the country, then let him/her do it legally.

You can get fined and inprisoned.... I think it's a federal offense, You are undermindig the authority and operation of the US Government by perpetrating a fraud.... Could be years. And lots of them.
But then you can spend that cash on stuff in the prison commissary.

I wouldn't do it because you will be responsible for this person for a certain amount of years. Believe me. I know alot of people who have wanted to pay people or have paid people to do that. The thing is, is that you will be responsible for him and then if he turns around and does something wrong, you're to blame. Don't do it.
