I believe it is Roger Federer because he plas well on all surfaces and has continuall yproved his domination of the men's tennis tour. To me there are too many great athletes in football, basketball or baseball to claim such dominance but if there was a close second to me it is Tiger Woods.

Currently - Tiger Woods. He is simply head an shoulders above 95% of the guys on the tour.

Past - Jim Brown. No man in the history of the NFL has put more "FEAR" into defenses than this man. NFL defenses across the league literally celebrated when he retired.

Roger Federer.

he is the most dominant tennis player in at least a decade.
And it's not a team sport so you cant blame things on teammates.

I would say Tiger, but i dont consider golf a sport. It isnt a sport if you cant directly affect the game of your opponent. just my opinion. golf is a game or pastime.

Tiger Woods for shizzle. 6 wins in a row against a field of over a hundred of the world's best golfers.

Hockey is tough as is baseball and football..

Michael Jordan was the answer to this question. I wonder whether football is too specialized to give a football answer.
Tiger and Kobe come close now.

Tiger or Federer, no one can compete with them and it's ridiculous.
