If they gave you no choice but to fight in a setting like school. The trick is to get in close and hopefully take the fight to the ground. Even if they get on top of you, use your strength to hang on. The closer you stay the less damage punches and kicks can do to you. Hopefully you can hold them off until someone breaks it up.
If you are somewhere like a dark alley and your life (not just your pride) is potentially in danger. You have to fight dirty. Go for the eyes, nose, throat, jewels, do not give up.
Always stay close. The last thing you want is a punch or kick that could give you a speech impediment;
