Does anybody know what happened to the Handsome Dan Spivey??? I haven't heard from him, nor have I seen him anymore. I didn't like him as the Widow Maker. But I do miss him.

A back injury suffered in the WWF around that time ended his career, halting the Mercy gimmick which is often considered and referred to as one of the best ever in professional wrestling. A similar gimmick was used for a short time by Bull Buchanan in 2003 while he competed in WWE's developmental territories, but was dropped when he was promoted to the main roster to become John Cena's sidekick.
It has been reported on multiple wrestling web sites that he works as a model in Florida.
