clear nail polish always does the trick. But if u don't want to paint it u can always take it off before getting it wet. To take the green stains off use rubbing alcohol goo luck!

I would say either put it on a necklace, cover ur finger in clear nail polish, or walk around with a green finger lol

It sounds like you have an allergy, or atleast a reaction to (probably) a copper ring.
Your best bet is to seal the ring with varathane or some other durable clear coating to protect your skin from contact with the ring.

Try painting it with clear nail polish... even a couple of coats, on the inside of the ring (let it dry really well).
