Don't be concerned yet. He might just be busy at work and hasn't had time. If you don't hear from him by tomorrow - write him off.

Play hard-to-get. Don't call him. Give him some time. If he really wants to call, he will. I've read that guys who say they'll call aren't necessarily lying.....but that's just guy-speak for I'll call you sometime, if I can stand the risk of rejection. :) Either way, it's not a reflection on you. He may have just not gotten around to it yet or is wondering if you like him, etc. Give him a week and if he doesn't call and you really want to try another date with him, you can always call him or 'accidentally' run into him somewhere and say "Oh hi...I had fun with you last week. Want to grab some lunch?" I think guys hate being rushed, you know? Let him have his space and see what he does next. Good luck.

First of all, today is not over yet.

Second, give him a day or two. If he doesn't call by then I'd be concerned, but it's only the next day.

You went on one date with the guy. Chill out and find something else to do besides sitting by the phone. Why, after one date, would you be doing that? Have more confidence in yourself. Don't be a slave to conventions. Go out and have some fun again. If you are on a fishing trip, why would you stop with one bite on the line?

Guys ALWAYS say that. He may call, he may not. After one date, don't lose any sleep over it. Let it ride and see if he happens to call within the next couple of days - if not, chalk it up to a nice date (hopefully it was).

I think it depends on if it was your first date or not. I hate to say it, but he could have said he'd call just because he wasn't man enough to say if he just wasn't that into you. I think guys do that because they think it is going to spare our feelings, (even though most women I know would prefer the direct truth instead). I'd give it a couple days. If he still doesn't call, then move on. Just please don't be one of those women who go nuts and call him over and over and over. Don't chase a person who doesn't want you... what would be the point? Good luck.

Good God, have some patience....and whatever you do, do not call him. Just wait it out and keep yourself busy in the meantime, please do not tell me you sat by the phone today waiting for him to call. He's going to have to learn you are a person with your own life. Go out and do something for yourself, have a massage, a haircut, a manicure ---you'll be spending time doing something for yourself and will feel wonderful afterward.

Don't freak out, I would never call a girl the next day after a date. Give him a few days if he doesn't call. After that move on, he probably decided you weren't compatible.

Learn to scrapbook, watch a movie, or clean up something. I would not suggest being so wrapped up in waiting for someone to call you. Especially since your not deeply involved. Surf the internet.

Well if you didn't go too far then just give him time. Sometimes a guy doesn't want to look too interested so they let you wait. If you went to far then you have to wonder if he got what he wanted and there is no need to call.
