What makes a friend? What makes a best friend? (Answer separately)
Is a friend someone you say hi to in the hallway, someone you goof around with, someone who enjoys your company and you enjoy theirs? Is a friend have to be someone who goes to the beach with you, comes over to your house, and you go over to theirs?
I'm confused.

It can be a person who you say hi to in the hallways and goof around with at school.
They don't necessarily have to go to your house or go places with you to be considered a friend.

A friend is a person who makes you smile every day you see them and likes you for you not what you have. They will give you a gift you did not like when you saw it in the store but when they give it to you, you love it and treasure it forever and never through it away. A friend is a person that stops you from crying and cheers you up when you are sad. A friend is some one you love and care about.

there are many types of friendships... i have friends that i say hi to and share the nice friendly chit chat, friends that i go out with, friends that i never see but we email every once in awhile. i have 3 friends that i am close to and even then, i dont share everything with them.
i think the key is to learn how to be my own best friend so that i dont have to depend on others to make me happy and get confused about who my friends are, and who aren't.
the best kind of friend is the one you can connect with no matter how much time has passed, and pick up where you left off. that to me, reflects a true friendship. not always in your back pocket, but live in your heart, no matter where your path takes you.

don't forget that a best friend is someone you can share things with. it's like, you can tell them anything, even secrets. a best friend is also always there for you, it doesn't matter if they go to the beach with you or to your house, as long as they listen to you and they're there for you.

Your share some interest with each other, Just think as your playing the game The Sims. You share a bond, your friendship bar will increase the more you get along... don't get it too full your become gay lol

a friend is someone you talk to but don't tell your most personal secrets too. you goof off with them and things like that. A best friend is a friend that you can have weekly movie nights with and talk about EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
