I comprehend what you assert and appreciate it. i'm professional-selection and under no circumstances having had to make the alternative concerning having an abortion i am going to under no circumstances choose a woman that has to make this determination. i don't sense anybody has the right to inform a woman she ought to carry a baby that both she would not go with, cant safeguard, became conceived by ability of rape/incest, must be born so disabled it more desirable then in all probability must be left to stay its life living in a mattress in some nursing domicile. Adoption is tremendous, tell that to the 1000's of youngsters waiting to be followed. the only time I have some thing adverse to assert about abortion in view that genuinely a fetus can no longer stay outdoors the human body until eventually 24 weeks gestation or maybe at that age would not live to inform the tale without life lengthy incapacity, is even as people use it as a kind of birth control That being reported i imagine people go with to comprehend females which have aboritons more desirable in many cases then no longer do no longer take the alternative gently or make it spur of the on the spot and may no longer be judged. And this isn't in accordance to any non secular beliefs only own opinion. with the exception of I only examine a reaction to this positioned up through some different person and that i go with to renowned the way will you help the shortcoming of life penalty and be adverse to abortion in case you've faith abortion is homicide then what precisely is the shortcoming of life penalty?

Yeah, that's the way I feel about it. With a few caveats. First of all, if the "right" to have this medical procedure were ever taken away, what would happen is that those who could afford it would simply go out of the country and those who could not would go to the closet for a coathanger. Medicine is global nowadays. I know people who go to China just to have dental work done because it is so much cheaper that even after the travel expenses you save money. No reason you could not extend that mentality to abortion. So to prevent this inequity I would not take away the right of women to have an abortion. On the other hand, I do hope that often, in the middle of the night, these people wake up in a sweat, the voice of their unborn, murdered child calling for their mama in the darkness.

Yes, actually. I kind of feel the same way. I HATE the thought of abortions, but then again I've never been in a situation where I would want one. If I had gotten pregnant in high school, though, I would have been kicked out if I kept the baby - it's a Catholic prep school. If I had had to choose between keeping my baby and keeping my best chance at an education, I honestly don't know what I would have done.
I also don't know that making abortions illegal, or more difficult to get, would actually discourage many people from getting them, and if they have to get them illegally, there's also a greater chance that it won't work or it will hurt the mother. I think the best thing we can do, then, is to simply promote life and encourage women to make the right choice.

I hear you.
I AM a woman, and I also have that same stance. I myself would never have an abortion, for I feel it very wrong. But I also feel it is not my place to make a decision for someone else, either. And I wish abortion kept legal so the government will continue to regulate it, as opposed to it going back into the dark alleys and more dying from the procedure than have to. Making it illegal will not stop it (drugs anyone??), but education will definitely make a difference.

I am totally pro-choice and believe that a woman has a right to have an abortion, no matter what the reason is...but I personally would never choose to have an abortion...ok that's wrong...if I had a test when I was pregnant and they said my child was going to be born with major disabilities I would have one. Only reason though.

It makes perfect sense. You're pro-choice, you're republican, etc... however, you believe in certain Democratic and Pro-Life decisions. You're technically a supporter of neither side. You're conformist. You take the best of both worlds and combine them to suit your own beliefs and ideas.
I'm much the same same. Certain aspects like Abortion I'm perfectly fine with, but at the same time I don't approve of things like sending our troops to war to free another country when our own country has enough issues already.

Yes, you can be both. You can believe that every person has a right to chose the reproductivity while still not liking the procedure. You can hope they choose an alternate route while still making all routes available. That is the root of open-mindedness. Its not to say you agree with everything, but respect what it is that you differ in.

Of course! That's similar to the position of most pro-choice adults. No-one WANTS women to have terminations, but reasonable people understand that however disturbing we personally find it, we cannot make that choice for someone else. Women have to be able to control their own bodies.

What you are is confused. You refer to the 'child' one part of the question, and call it part of the woman's body in another. You can't have a valid opinion if you don't even know if you believe the child is alive. You are no pro-choice, pro-life, or against abortion.

yes it makes sense...i also am pro choice but feel abortion should not be used as a form of birth control..i do believe its a womans choice to make and i am a women, and if she was raped or other circumstances made her feel abortion was the only option for her then she has every right to have one...again as long as it isnt for birth control reasons and by that i mean she already has 4 kids and still having unprotected sex
