Hi there, if you're in the Uk then why not try contacting someone from German Shepherd Rescue UK?
http://www.germanshepherdrescue.co.uk/
Or - as already advised - do a search on 'gsd rescue' - there are loads of hits & you may find one in your area of the country.
Alternately, you could try advertising for new homes for them yourself ... there are lots of websites out there where you can place adverts for free ... like Preloved.co.uk & epupz.co.uk.... however, it does mean that you'll have to 'vet' the potential owners yourself.
Failing that then there is always the RSPCA or the Dogs Trust:

Good luck

My grandparents used to have a german shepard that became used for farm animals herding yet i believe they taught the canine a thanks to do it properly. Collies, australian farm animals canine and blue heelers have more desirable of an instinct to herd they could be able to expire with farm animals or sheep and commence herding them without preparation yet you nonetheless go with preparation to cause them to herd to the position you go with.

You should get in torch with your local dogs home. However, I don`t think they take `Pedigree` dogs (Pure breeds). You could try the `Blue Cross`.
