how to get my amd 3000xp to run at 3000 mghz. I am currently running at 2166. All my switches on my board ok?

That is the speed it runs at. The 3000 is only given as a way to compare it to Intel processors. In other words it does the same amount of work at 2166 as an Intel would at 3000.

I own a 3000+ and run on 1800MHz (Default)
I adjust to 1980MHz ,it's still fine
I Adjust to 2160MHz , It hang....
somewhere I see people can OC up to 2800MHz...
