my best friend is sad cuz she told me that she heard that one of her aunts is probably going to die how can i cheer her up?

Just be there for her. She will talk to you if she wants but let her know that she is not alone. Also tell her to confront the person that she overheard talking, the family might not be aware that she knows. Or even worse she could have overheard wrong and be upset for nothing.

Really? you cant.. but you can keep her from the issue.. (diversion of attention) do some fun stuff.. go shopping, see a movie,, play mini-golf.. hang at the mall and make rude comments about boys passing by... life is for the living.. and well crass as it sounds.. dead is dead and everyone dies.. no one has made it outta life alive yet...

There is nothing you can do to "cheer" her up . All that you can do is to be a good friend and be there for her and just listen.

just tell her to remember the good times and write her a letter telling them something funny or something sad or just what is happening in your friends life just so she feels that people are not just sad they still want them to know things about their lives

Just be there for her and tell her you love her [as a friend] and it's a part of life, don't worry...she'll proably be looking after her in Heaven....
