I was wondering if i can take my old cell phone that has no account and no phone number and somehow make it work. I know that if it is possible, that it would most certainly be illegal. I just wanna know if its even possible. any help would be cool . thank you

If you have a GSM based cellphone, then all you have to do is either call the original carrier and ask them for the unlock phone for the phone, or find a place that sells it on the Internet. It should take all of 5 minutes to unlock the phone. Then you can take your GSM card from your current cellphone and put it into your old GSM phone and it will work.

I have 19 cellphones. I can use ANY of them with my SIM card. Nothing illegal about it at all.

The easiest way is to buy a new sim card. Not very expensive. If the phone was previously tied to a particular mobile network then it might be an idea to get the phone unlocked first so that you can use a sim card from any network and you're not tied to only being able to use a sim card from the original network. Unlocking a phone will only cost about £5 and £10 at the MOST and is perfectly legal.
