Depends on the guy. Some guys like long nails, others like short ones.

Honestly, women do their nails to impress other women. Men generally don't care, unless there's something wrong with the nails. Make-up improves a plain face, but plain nails don't make much difference. Personally, I find long nails impractical for the real world.

Okay, rule 1:
There is no answer to "Do guys..." questions. We're individuals. Nobody can say with certainty that "guys like" anything. We each have our own preferences.
Rule 2: As a general rule of thumb, I think you would be safe to assume that when a guy is checking you out...he will not be scoping your manicure. This may vary, some guys could be nail fetishists...but I personally doubt it.

I like french manicures on real, groomed nails.
Long nails look gross and are usually very unhygenic.
There should be a rule that if your free edge exceeds a half an inch, you need to carry hand sanitizer and use it atleast every 10 minutes to clean under your nail.

I think paying for nails is so dumb! We are born with nails!! And I don't think guys care at all about fake nails. They probably prefer natural or cute painted nails if they care at all

if a guy doesn't like a girl because of how long or short their nails are hes a loser. just make sure your nails are clean regardless.

does it really matter? if a guy is 'into you' because of your nails... hes gay. nails are the least of a guy's problems.
