This is for a friend of mine who lost a book that she borrowed and needs to buy a new copy w/o telling the person she lost it (because that person borrowed it from someone else etc) The book is about a woman who moves to Malibu, I think, crashes a party does something with breaking into someone's house, ends up marrying that person whose house she broke into for some reason (I don't why because I did not read the book). They have two children together, then someone breaks into their house and she gets hurt. The father ends up taking the two children to the desert to be raised in a remote area with no contact with others...That is all I got, anyone who has read that book that can tell me the title?

It really isn't me, I have no freaking idea what this book is or what it is about. This is for my mom's friend who borrowed the book from someone who borrowed it, from a person who wants it back. But she lost it, and I am trying to help her out...I thought this would be a good place to ask, but who knows...

My suggestion is get your mum's friend to start up a conversation about the book she was supposed to have read such as "Hey, that book I borrowed was great! Is there a sequal?" or "Do you know anything about the author?"

Once you've got that you are set.

Also, check a smalltown bookstore or library. Often times those people can help you out easily.

Sorry don't know it. Best is to ask the friend who you borrowed it off, they would want to help as much as possible to get it back to the original owner!

'Fess up--you need the author/title to replace it.
They will be happier to get a replacement than to wonder what is TAKING so long!
