I fell 2 stories and broke a heel bone in about 30 some odd places. I never ever imagined that pain that pain like that even existed.
Prior to that I had broken other bones but this was a whole new ballgame.
The best part was even after it healed it was painful .At one point I actually considered having the foot amputated and dealing with prosthesis, fortunately i found a great orthopedic surgeon who worked his magic and allowed me to walk again w/o pain.

I havent broken anything so I would have to say the most pain I have ever gone through is when I got some kind of work done on my teeth. They gave me some sleeping stuff but I could still feel the pain. Also the drugs were making me kinda sick.

I had a skid of freight smash into me while traveling backwards on a stand up forklift . The skid came up and into my leg and the corner shattered my femur and then smashed me through the control panel of the lift. I was pinned about 15 ft in the air in High rise shelving. I couldn't get myself free and blew the horn till help came about 4 or 5 minutes later people on the far side of the warehouse heard the horn and came to see why. Two guys climbed the shelving and got me down. I know have rods and pins in my leg after 5 hours of surgery. I woke up and found I had bitten holes through my lower lip while under anesthesia. The doctor told me he broke a drill bit off in my leg trying to set the pins.

Well compared to childbirth and slipped disks, it isn't too exciting, but I fell into a pool and hit my elbow on the way in. This resulted in a bone bruise and damage to my ulnar nerve... my whole arm swelled up and my fingers were all numb and tingly for days. Six weeks later it still hurts.

I was welding once, and a piece of hot metal burned through my glove and into my fingernail. When it hit that pink skin underneath, I couldn't get to water fast enough! owe!
