i just created a neat family, and i wanted them to live in one of the huge pre-made houses, but they cost too much. so i moved the family onto a lot with no house, and entered the cheat code for more money. now that i have enough money for them to buy the house, can i move them off the current lot they're on and move them into the expensive house??? help plz.....

ok, i tried the bulldoze thing, and it asked me if i wanted to evict the family, and i said no, but the family is still there. help!

Yeah, you can, otherwise you wouldn't ever be able to buy the bigger house. You go to the main mode and you click to buldoze the lot. It will, or it could be set already, to ask you if you want to keep the family. Obviously, click yes. Then the family will be put in the little box with all the families to chose from. The place they were in, in the first place. You can then move them to the bigger house from there.

theres a button that will let u move the family, i think its in a shape of a bulldoze, dont worry about making a mistake it will always confirm it first

there should be a move family option somewhere in the game when u go to that new lot
