Labels are for toothpastes and canned meat, not for people. Enjoy your sexual life according to your drives; time will tell you what you really are. Just don’t let the others define you. If you are leaving in a society that does not tolerate deviations, simply try to be as discreet as possible, to avoid harming people that you love and care about -and that’s all about it, dear.

You didn't mention your age so it makes it harder to offer the best suggestions..... don't worry so much about labels. we all travel the same road, but on different time lines and sometimes we wander off a bit. I was married and at 27 discovered that I was a lesbian. I had wondered why my marriage sucked, suddenly I knew. It was a surprise although I had had subtle clues my whole life, I never put them together. You're in high school or maybe college???? so stop worrying. Hang out with people- men and women-- who make you feel good about yourself. You will discover where your true feelings lie and will start looking around for what you really want. If you think you might be gay/bi check out a gay alliance at school, call the gay center to talk to others going thru the same scenario, and contact pflag.org (a natl support, educational group to help all glbt people and their families/friends understand and get thru this. It will get easier, I promise. Take it easy. Play safe. Be happy. Don't worry about being confused. Hell, we all are at some time in our lives. Hugs

Well first of all are YOU a girl or a boy??? (you don't say that and the thing about your mom telling you you are gay if you hold your pinky finger out while holding a tea cup - leads me to believe that you are a male!)
If you are a girl tho then from what you have said, I would have to pick gay for your true sexual orientation!
Because one turn you down or blows you off, don't give up, move on, start looking for another girl you can date. If you get the opportunity to date a boy as well it wouldn't be a bad idea. That way you can make sure that you really don't have any strong sexual feelings for guys!
Hope this is helpful.
*hugs*

Well, just let me throw a few names at you:Truman Capote,Oscar Wilde,Toulouse LeTrek,Michaelangelo,....The list of gay men in history is quite long. But they all had one thing in common;they were all gifted and special.
Oscar Wilde was no panzy. He once kicked the crap out of two of his Oxford College classmates when they tried to ambush him in his apartment. He sent the third guy running for his life.
There is absolutely no truth to the "pinky finger"stereo-type.Some guys like the color pink who are not gay.And if you decide for yourself that you do have gay tendencies, then don't worry about it and accept it even if your friends and family do not.
I tend to enjoy life alot more when I am honest with myself.I like to shop womens' apparel and lingerie.Does that make me a perv? No!I like flowers.Does that make me a Sissy?Maybe! So what!I'm not going to change just because someone may be uncomfortable to be around me.
The only time that I ever had a homosexual experience -that I can remember-was when I was 18 and I performed oral on a much older man(perhaps out of fear). But you know,I think I actually enjoyed it, to be truthful.I'm fifty now and I have never told my family about the experience.
There are alot of people who have homosexual dreams but that doesn't make them gay.You might be bi and that is ok,too.there are also alot of pedophiles in the world who are very hetero.
I was in counseling-at least once-when I pondered the same question:Am I gay or straight? The answer my counselor gave me was this question:If you were in a committed(hetero)relationship, would you leave your family for a same sex partner? For me,the answer was "no"even if I did have these gay "tendencies".I hope this helps.

I have the same EXACT situation as you, accept my mother has no clue. All she notices is that I talk to boys here and there. I talk to a lot of boys on the phone, a lot that like me and some I'm jst real cool with. When I see an attractive boy, I notice his looks....but not in a way to hwere I want to be with him. But when I see a girl, its something different. If looks real good, I know I like her. Thats how i knew I liked girls. I know for sure I dont like boys because whenever I'm around a bo that likes me or that is real cute I dont like it. If thats how you feel, that means you like girls. If you have some type of attraction to guys, that means your bi. Its whatever your heart tells you.

I´d look for help with a psycologist... it´s not bad being confused and I bet you are still very young (18 or younger) so you can always put your feelings, thoughts, and beliefs straight. Just one thing: don´t let others decide for you and hopefully you dedice to be straight because it is what it should be. I have nothing against homosexuality but I thing many of the gays, bis, etc. are done based on the speed of life we are living, the TV shows and the excess we put on things like alcohol, drugs, etc, so they are not born guys, they are made.. sorry, it´s what I think and I hope you gay people reading this understand my position and not being judgemental or call stupid to people that don´t think like you.

wow....massive run on sentence. The thing bout pinky out...Ignore it; I'm bi and I've never had my pinky out. The easiest way to figure out your sexuality is to be totally honest with yourself. If you still can't figure it out, then chances stand that you're bi. I could go into an extensive explanation, but honestly...I just got off work and am waaaaay too tired. IM me on Yahoo IM if you want me to extrapolate sometime. (My user id is the same as this name...shaun_lambert)

a girl knows what a girl wants..so a girl can please you like no other, and you like that and most girls do but that doesn't make u lesbian..if u want to have a relationship/family with a girl then u r a lesbian, if u still have some feelings for guys even if it is boring, it means ur bi...it all depends on ur intentions with the people you want to be with.

The society we live in so promotes the sexuality of women that its bound to happen that even girls are persuaded by it.
IF it works for you, then do what you will. You'll find you won't find a guy who holds it against you later in life.
