Why does everyone tell me to put a magnet on my injured knee? What does a magnet have 2 do with a heal? Website or explanation is fine.

I also hurt my knee BAD and I can't walk on it! Should I get crutches? I am getting an MRI on monday. Missing school! It was red and swollen! now it hurts when I walk on it and there is a weird colored mark down my left side of my knee! What could it be? How should I heal it? Have done RICE!

Magnets are sooo kewl!

However, using magnets to reduce pain or help the human body heal itself have not been proven. There have been several studies, some with interesting results, but proof has not been shown at this time.

Try them if you are interested. Can't hurt! But, seeing a medical professional is likely the best move.

I am not sure how it works but i am temped to try some magnetic things myself! I think that it has something to do with the electricity in our body. Ever brushed you hair in the dark and watched the little sparks fly?
