I was briefly considering buying a Macintosh computer. However out of everyone I asked about it, the people that recommended Apple/ Mac were either flaming homosexuals, or just really weird in a way I cant quite put my finger on....Some were so fanatical about it, it was kindda scary, like another Waco, TX cult or something!

So my question is; Is it OK for a regular, straight person to buy a Mac?
I wont be "stepping on toes" of the gay community, by owning one and not being gay or anything, right?

And what is this "Boot Camp", I keep hearing about?
Is this were they brainwash people who have bought their computers into fanatical zealots, and program you to look down on anyone that does not use a Mac?

You know I said that about people who were fanatical about Politics. Lol.

I think that some people are so fanatical about Mac's to the point of angry, because they feel they need to prove that Mac's are better than a PC.

I have to support both Mac's and PC's. In fact I have a Mac Mini on my desk that I seldom use. The PC does everything I need it to and I basically have very little need for a Mac.

I do agree that some Mac users get ridiculous at times.

My one tech has a Mac book and seems to like it just fine. He doesn't not have the weird behavior of some Mac users either, which is good.

The problem with some people when it comes to something they like is that they are compelled by some form of schizophrenia to force the rest of us to believe it.

In regards to Boot Camp, it just allows you to install both Mac OSX and MS Windows on the same Mac Hard Disk. But you still have to purchase the full version of Windows XP.

Mac's are the suitable and whoever reported that's gay... Even tho that's a comedian tale. My sister has had a Mac for 2 years and that's runs as speedy as while she first bypass it. We have been given a Dell and after 3 months it takes quarter-hour to elevate an internet site. You tell me which on is gay... the fast one or the gradual homo?

What kind of question is that? I have never heard of such a thing. Are you just trying to get the most answers that you can. NO, you do not have to be gay to buy a MAC. Why don't you buy two MACS?

good for graphics!!! are you kidding me!!! ha!! mac sucks!!! they are crap! sure, windows has the dreaded blue screen but COME ON!!! and, btw, no. homosexuals do not buy macs. well, they might, but no more or less than the other mislead people who buy them. i'm straight, but i'd prefer it if you'd use language more apropriate, like stupid, or moronic, or maniacle, audastic, etc.. sorry for the big words, but, just respect others, they can't help what they are

not really...Apple has some advantages for peeps who want to edit and work with sound...and you dont have to be gay to do that...

Boot Camp allows you to use another OS instead of the Apple OS on a MAC...

Apple is not bad itself...but I recomend it for peeps who dont really want to get closer to a computer and learn from it....

No.

Mac OS X is good for making graphics and such things, while Windows is good for office and such.

Macintosh computers is a lot faster than PC. I heard that 800mhz Mac is even faster than 2.4ghz Pentium 4.

My reccomendation: Use Linux!
