I hear people everyday talking about celebrities as if their lives shape ours. I think that some people need to realize that none of the events that happen in famous peoples lives affect us and the rich lifestyle is a dream world.

Amen, sister! I cannot stand the way people are about celebrities. I cannot stand the way celebrities are about themselves, as if they are deserving of all the attention. I particularly hate all the patting themslves on the back with so many awards shows! They aren't achieving world peace, for God's sake. They are entertainers, and the ridiculous amounts of money that they make are recognition enough for what they do. It makes me ill that people are such losers to give them praise for singing or acting the way they do. 'Fans' means fanatics. How perfectly true.

People spend more time watching others peoples lives on t,v then talking an active part in there lives. It's easy yo see Jerry Springer and say look at these freaks, since most people don't set goals or take action and responsibilty on a daily basis for there lives,they can see the world through the eyes of celeb.Scary thought more people voted on american idle,then the general elections. Also more time is dedicated to american idol,then jioning community programs,like P T A ,boy scouts,or hiking with there own family.

People worship celebrities cause they think that they have easy life, better fashion, there all over media, and have nothing to do.

The reason why some people worship famous people is because they have nothing better to do with their lives. I mean i like Orlando bloom and so do my friends and we some time's talk about him but we have other things to talk about instead of Orlando bloom.

I was thinking about that the other day. If a movie star or a country or rock artist came to town, everybody would be breaking their necks to try and see them, but if Jesus came, they wouldn't give it a thought about going to him. It really is bad. Thanks for asking this question. God bless you!

because so many people are so unhappy and they see these celebs appear to be happy and have everything you want. truth lies behind the camera. if people were to see the truth we wouldn't want their sorry lives. so many people live thru these losers.

I don't worship them at all.......I have bills to pay......Although I thought Princess Diana was one of the most down to Earth "Celebrities"..and was very saddened when she died......
