tell her to grow up. If you like her, then hang out with her. When she puts your friends down, tell her that you dont like when she talks about people that you care about like that. You treat her with respect, she should do the same. One day she'll grow up. Friends are hard to come by in life, so dont get mad, just let her know where you stand, and see what she says. Maybe she's acting a certain way cause she feels you like her less then the others, I dunno. Its hard when your friends dont get along, believe me, all of junior high and high school, even now in college, my friends dont really chill out with one another. I usually make time for each friend, and rarely have them hang with eachotehr, cause of the conflicts. maybe that'll work

She just wants to make herself seem like a better friend than she actually is. Try throwing out all the eggs in your fridge (assuming you have some)(not literally) if you broke the first one, would you spend your time fixing it, or trying to catch all the others. Someone will be disappointed either way.

Well first of all...she is jealous. Jealous of anyone wanting to be friends with you...but her. This show insecurity. It would be pretty hard to convince her to stop putting everyone down as this is her mission...to keep your friendship all to herself. If you are happy with her as your only friend, say nothing...but if you are loosing other friends because her...simply tell her...I dont put you down to my other friends...and they dont put you down to me...so if you want to continue being friends you need to stop dislikeing the other people I like.

It's tough. She likely does it because she doesn't like herself. When you don't like yourself, it's easier to try to make others look bad so that you don't feel so bad.
When you are talking to her and she says such things, let her know that you feel unconfortable when she speaks badly of your (plural) other friends and request that you talk about something else.

Tell her, "just because you aren't paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you"
Then smack her over the head and shout, "GOBBLE GOBBLE GOBBLE GOBBLE GOBBLE!"
Then tell her to stfu/gtfo (use the letters, not the words they stand for).
Then buy her a present.
Ask to borrow it every time you see her.
The only way you can get through to a senseless person is through equally senseless acts.

Mm... I'd ask her why she thinks what she thinks. "Why do you think she does that just because she likes your brother?" How'd she come to that conclusion? Is it possible that what she thinks might not be true? Why is it true?
Summed up, try to change her mind, and see what it is that's bothering her. Then solve.
