You do need to find a host first of course and there are good hosts that will offer a free account.

For instance, I have a website with a Christian host and my account is free. There will always be some limits to having a free account, but it's very doable. The host I'm with has Dreamweaver as its site creator. There is text that will teach you how to use it. It is quite easy to use and learn and you can also use HTML and Javascript within Dreamweaver.

It can be a little daunting at first, but once you get into it, you will get used to it. There are fantastic things you can do on your site!

Plan everything out on paper first. Know what you are going to put on your site and what and where you are going to put graphics. Research sites where you can get free graphics. Believe me it feels like I've been to all of these sites where there are free graphics and helps for websites.

There are also cheat sheets for HTML and Javascript that you can have at your side as you create your site. Nothing wrong with cheat sheets here.

Good luck! I'm rooting for you! Because I've been there.

There are LOTS of things that you have to consider before creating a website. First, you have to know how to work on HTML, and then you can proceed to various web programming which can modify your site. Javascript is one of the web programming scripts that i know.

If you mean that you want to publish your site on the web, you must look for a HOST. Geocities is one of the hosts that i know that offers free uploading of sites on the web, and they also offer tutorials (i think..) of how to build your own site, so check it out..

You need to pay for service on the web like that. If you have at&t then you can add a whatever.com for a small fee. Making a web page however is tottaly free, all you have to do is design it with HTML code or use a softeware to do it.
