Pokemon, because it's sense of adventure is still just fantastic. Someone above me said the earlier episodes were the best? Yeah; the entire first season was a HUGE amount of fun back in the day. Still is.
Not only that, but it seems more original and thought-out than Yu-gi-oh.
AND there are still good Pokemon video games coming out; aside from the fact that Red/Blue are classics. They revolutionized the RPG and the idea of multiplayer gaming, were extremely original, became a flagship franchise for Nintendo, and are just plain fun.

Wow, this is difficult. I both liked them a lot when I was younger. I'd have to say Pokemon cause it's a classic and was a HUGE fan, but only for the old episodes. The recent episodes are really bad because they got new (and bad) voice actors after ten years.
Yugi-Oh was really good and I really like the spin-off, Yugi-Oh GX.

Tough choice, but I'd take Yu-gi-oh. Use to play that game, but never got into Pokemon.

Pokemon is overrated. Yu-Gi-Oh is complicated.
