Too few people have, that is the big problem of society
To have never been in danger creates an obsession with it to the point where people are afraid to put milk in tea due to 'health risks'
I have saved two lives and nearly died myself
I would say for certain to have lived through an experience like that gives you a whole different perspective on life to the majority of those that have not

Great question! You ready? I was on my 12-speed riding downtown and I went through an intersection when the light turned green for my lane, but so also did an old lady in a very large sedan. I don't think she ever saw me. I felt her before I saw her. I felt her behind me. Before I knew it, there was the entire front end of her car, passing me on the left, less than an inch from my left thigh! I turned slightly and put my hand out and caught on and went through the intersection with her to avoid going under her car. Then I let go and slipped back behind her. Not once did she notice she had nearly run someone over. It cleared my sinuses, believe me. I said a silent prayer of thanks, quickly.

That's easy. It was May 15, 2006. I was 32 weeks pregnant and I was admitted to the hospital. My blood pressure was 225/150. My daughter got in distress. I had an emergeny c-section. Afterwards, my kidneys start to shut down. All is well now.

3 times!
1) 1999 driving from Glasgow UK to Oban UK and my car came off the road in the snow. I was driving way to fast on an untreated back road. The car came down the hill, started to spin, and being an idiot I tried to compensate, the car just spun faster, to my left was a precipice, to the right a drainage ditch. I ended up nose up in the ditch. Car was OK, but I was shaken. I called the tow-truck to come and pull me out, because of the conditions the police arrived too.
The life or death situation happened when I got home, not when the car was spinning!! My car had been pulled out and I was giving my statement to the police officer. And as procedure he breath tested me and had me do the sober test! While I was doing that, a bus passed and stopped for everyone to gawk at me! On the bus were my mother, father, brother and grandmother and their friends on their way home from a church trip. My poor family were mortified! I got so much hell when I got home!
2) 2000, First day in a job having graduated from University. I went to the bathroom to vomit, at 9.30am, thinking it was nerves. I bashed my head on the toilet knocking myself unconsiousand woke up 5 hours later in hospital having undergone surgery! It turns out it wasn't nerves, but in fact my gallbladder had burst inside me with gallstones the size of peas.
3) 2001, Business Trip to Taiwan. August. I had flown from London to Hongkong and the flight had landed in turbulent conditions at Hong Kong. I got a connection flight to Taiwan on China Airlines - not noted for their safety! - and well got caught in a typhoon, I thought I was going to die, it took 3 attempts at landing, the first two times the airplane was moving faster sideways than was forwards.
Life is two short, live for the moment, I do now!

I fell into the frozen veggie freezer in Tesco today... and it was nearly empty... does that count? I saw all the oven chips and brussels I have ever eaten flashing before my eyes... and there was a snow man with a carrot nose and his mate spud the scarecrow, with his parsnip beckoning me to come into the light.... but I remembered I hadn't put any roasties in my trolley and drew back.... back.... back.... back.... and carried on the the ice-cream and ready meals!!!!
