I am from Ohio. I rented a condo in St. Louis, MO. My landlord is not refunding my security deposit. How do I take him to court without being there? Any suggestions?

If landlords keep your deposit, they are suppose to give you an itemized list of where the money went. They just can't keep it because they want to. You might need to call the courthouse where this took place and ask them how you take care of this matter. Or go to your local courthouse and ask them. Hope this helps. Make sure you do something about this because a lot of landlords don't think people will stand up for themselves.

Most of the time the security deposit goes to fixin the place up after u move out so they can rent it again.
If u left owing rent , u will not get the deposit back
but if u paid the rent on time, u should get it back
call the landlord and inquire about it.
