Although my girlfriend and I are not married yet, we will be so my soon to be in-laws are half and half. Her dad is a good guy whom respect goes both ways. Her mother is less than thrilled with the idea of her only daughter going out with a guy like me. It makes things a little harder due to the fact that she loved the guy before me.

I liked my mother and father-in-laws. They were great people. My husband is the youngest of 8, some of this brothers and sisters are a little weird, but aren't we all.
I lucked out with the family that I married into.

In-laws are the hardest people to deal with. It's even worse when you get married to a man that wants you to marry your in-laws. My last husband and I split b/c of that. I told myself that I would never marry another man that had parents still living. My husband that I am with now, his parents died before we met. I am happy not dealing with in-laws. I feel for you. Good luck and God bless you!

My first set of inlaws werent terrible; they were just very odd people that I couldnt relate to.
I've been very blessed this second time around - my inlaws are the sweetest, most considerate, and humorous people Ive ever met. Theyre like parents to me.

I adored my in-laws.Especially my father-n-law.He gave me a shotgun wedding,LOL.We just had our son and couldn't pay for the marriage license and he did.He said to my hubby"Son,if you don't marry that girl,I will." He loved how tight I was with a dollar..But he passed 20 years ago.I still feel his presence. Then again,it could be just my imagination, since he passed in this house I now live in.I'm sure he is still watching over us,no matter where he is...

okay this is a little confusing. But my husbands dad and step mom are the best! My husbands sister and real mother?? freaking monsters! I don't think I "hate " them but they are definately the lowest of low in my book! Always talking crap about me and have absolutley nothing to do with our son.

My in-laws are the best ever (even after 17 years). My father-in-law is my hero, and my mother-in-law is one of my best friends.
They treat me just like I am their own daughter. I'm VERY lucky to have them.

who?
A few folks I would die for, some are just ok, some tolerable, some not even that.
Hate is a strong word. Lets say I'm ready to put them in their places.
