And not necessarily Libertarian Party members.

Probably not. The power lies with the two major parties. Perot gave it a shot, probably the best shot in the last 50 years and came up short. The GOP and the Democrats have a death grip on the political system in this country - even to the lengths of getting tax payers' money!

There are some Libertarians in office, but as members of 1 of the major parties (usually Republican). I can't see 1 getting their parties nomination for pres because they don't appeal to the base of either party. Running as a Libertarian is hopeless.

No libreals think the goverment is solution to soical injustice, and agreement with libertarains for more personal freedoms. Libertarians agree with the consveratives on economic issuses, but disagree with them on soical issusse like abortion, stemcells, drugs. I vote for who can slow down the earmak favor factory when possilble. Libertarians will do better as time goes on because the soical con base Terry Shervio crap is something a libertian would say, I told you so, I told you so. Libertarians, and Socialists dont scare me as much as Populists, Nationalists that have ego problems lol.

Yes, I think so. There is a great degree of discontent and dissatisfaction with both main parties, so a third party might actually stand a chance now.
Problem is hardly anyone knows any of their candidates. They would need to do major campaigning and get their face name and platform ideas out there on a daily basis.

some have received minor elections right here and there, yet they received't win significantly on the nationwide level because Libertarianism might want to reason extra issues than it would want to settle on. For starters, how might want to you want to pay toll on each and every street, and word all seashores develop into inner most?
