This statement is strickly based on a scientific evolunitonary point of view. Scientists believe that all living creatures evolved from a single ancestor in the ocean. This ancestor's offspring had to survive the harsh conditions of the ocean. The offspring that had certain qualities that could withstand stress and preditors were able to have more offspring. Whereas the ones that could not stand the changes or the other preditors were killed off. As a result, only the "fittest could survive and make babies." However, those speicies that could not produce enough babies would go extinct. The amount that die are greater then the amount being born - this is known as endangered speicies that go extinct. As a result of millions and millions of years of this type of existence, life forms pass the desire to mate with only the most fit. This is still evident in humans today. We are highly critical of people in wheelchairs, people who are overweight, people who are gay or lesbian, people who are not "pretty". From a biological stand point, people are not as "evolved" as we like to believe we are. ON a global scale, being "un-fit" is seen as a crime punishable by law. A good example of this would be that the Chinese Government has forbidden any foreigner who is overweight, who has any facial deformities, and those that have not been married for two year, and those who take medication for depression, these people are forbidden from adopting Chinese children. To see if I am right, search this out on Google yourself.
- So my point is that if you are gay, humans see that as a flaw, biologically speaking.
