how would you run sound if you had a vocal processer, mixing board, dual chanel eq, power amp and 2 cabs? in what order would you hook them up?

I'll get back with you on this one...my fiance knows all about PA. He's at a gig right now.
Ok heres what he said...the system should be hooked up with the mixing board outputs going to the eq. Out of the eq into the power amp. Out of the power amp to the speakers. As for the vocal processor, you should probably run it through an auxilliarry in the board that each channel can benefit from. You could connect a mike to the processor and then into the board if you wanted, but using it through the auxilliary enables you to use the proccessor on any channel you want. Hope that helps!!! Well, let's make it simple and not look so much for an "order" or chain. Your EQ and any kind of signal processing is going to be inserted at the mixing board (should be labeled at the back as "send" and "return") The final outputs at the back of the mixer are going to run to the input of a power amp, and the output of a power amp then goes to the cabs.
