Humans have a restricted intellect and 'Fate' is so complex, that we cannot comprehend the complexity of it! The human brain cannot even comprehend eternity and infinity! I'm getting a headache just thinking about it! lol. Have a good day!

You have to take action. Follow your dreams. Yes I believe in fate. I believe that we all have something that we are meant to do but you still have to figure out what that is for you & then take the steps to get there. The good news is that once you're on the right track, the universe will start to help you along. Things will start to fall into place & it gets easier. If you're on the wrong track however, if you're avoiding your dreams & doing things that you know are wrong for you then things will keep going wrong & you will seem to have bad luck, this is the universe telling you that you're going the wrong way.
If you just sit around, nothing will happen. Fate isn't going to fall through the roof. You do have to go after it.

Fate is basically what you are destined to become, and destiny is what will happen to you in the future. Everything is already written in stone. Even though we have free will, it has already been decided what we are going to do every second of the day. Like if you went back in time and changed everything, that would be your fate, which means that you didn't really change what was going to happen.
You just have to live for fate to take place. No matter what you do, it was planned to be because that is part of your fate.

Fate plays it's own course, you can not alter it.
Destiny is something that has events you undertake. These events if pushed aside in a way ignoring them, Will cause more pain and suffering in the alttered path of choice. So it is easy to accept destiny, take the challenges ahead, they are for you and only you.
But again, fate, naw nothing you can do, if it is your time, thats it! We all have a momment like that.

Fate is like luck... There is no such thing. You get luck/fate by preparing yourself in education, work habits, sports practice, etc. the next thing you know you run into luck/fate in the things that you have worked towards.
The worst thing you can tell a person who is successful in business, sports, even entertainment is "wow man you were lucky, like your fate was to be the best boxer ever!"...
No, my hard work, practice and dedication allowed me the opportunity to shine and appear lucky... now get off you lazy A$$ and try doing something for yourself and others and suddenly realize your own good fate and luck...

I don't think that Fate exists because of what I believe the answer to this question to be..
Since Fate is an event (or a course of events) that will inevitably happen in the future, there is nothing we can do to stop it. And we can do anything we want to make it happen, because no matter what we do, it will happen eventually.

I have had an unusual experience with this in a real life setting. I had my palm read...then when the forecast started coming true this is what I observed (and sort of believe now):
Fate is Fate
Free will is free will
They are combined in that our lives have a pre-known-to-God path, which we use freewill to interpret how we wish (ie. good bad, happy sad etc.)
No matter how many times I thought about certain foretold choices I would make, they always lined up with my true inner nature...the foretold realities ALWAYS were the choice I would have taken.
Fate seems to me to be both passive and active in a pre determined synchronicity with WHO WE ARE.
WHO WE ARE morphs and flows through many periods of highs and lows.
Sometimes we continue with our routine sometimes we are adventurous......
Its all in how we look at it!There in lays our choice!!!!!

To continue is to imply a precision, which is foundation, and this can be good so long as you do not grow dogmatic. And yes, you do have to take action.
For an idea seeks the fitness of action, and which search only an action can afford and import meaning.

Fate implies that it is something that is beyond your control. It will happen no matter what you do or don't do. So if it will happen no matter what you do, it would stand to reason that you don't have to take action. Read the definition of fate in the dictionary and you will have your answer.

if you believe in fate it does not really matter since your assumption is that there is an external force that guides your actions.
