Honestly, there isn't one answer to this question because there are so many different variables to think about (the length of your friendship, who saw the guy first, etc.). But, I will tell you my experience with this situation.....Myself and two other friends liked the same guy. We each saw him at a different time of the day and tried our best to get his attention. Finally we decided that the youngest one of us should get him (unanimous decision). She was with him for maybe three days before my other friend and I saw he wasn't right for us. To be honest the one who got him wasn't with him that long. I think we just enjoyed the unknown, you know, seeing that cute guy and knowing virtually nothing about him, just wondering what it must be like to be with him. I wouldn't want to jeopardize my friendship over a guy. In the end you will know what to do.

I give the same advice all the time and this is what you should do : first you and your friend have to agree to not get mad at each other regardless, then go ask the guy who he likes better.

Decide whether or not it's worth it. Do you really like this guy? Or is your friend better? Maybe your friend is just playing a game to see who gets him first. My mom always used to say....."boys come and go but friends can last forever." hey it worked for her.

If she knows you like him ,that's not your friend,,and i tell u what ,dont sacryfice yourself for anyone ,if you really thing that guy its for you fight for it ,dont let anyone decide your life.In case the guy likes her ,theres nothing you can do ,just step back and find somebody else.But if the guy likes you and its not one of the players that wants to play with you both ,tell her to back off ,cuz you dont wanna loose her friendship for a man,so she has time to decide if she gets mad for your relationship with him ,or accept the reality.

i think you should talk to her about it and ask her if it is ok if u go out with him!!! And if he is single and she says yea go for it.. but remember if it is going to hurt your realationship with your friend don't do it cause friendz come first
