Well, I fear that my super-huge confidence boost is wearing off like adrenaline.

Plus, I want to ask someone out!

I know one of my friends is friends with this person, and has 4th period (or something) with the person I want to ask out. (I hate repetition, time to use names)

Now, I do not know the status of Megan (person who I want to ask out), and, right now, we are friends. Problem is, I don't know if I should break it to her or have someone else ask her.

I'm stuck here, please help me. Should I ask herself or chicken out and have someone else do it?

I'm a guy.

I'm straight.

Ok all this is from my perspective as a girl.
I would never go out with someone who was too scared to ask me out himself. That only shows that I'm just something in the back of his mind that he can get someone else to do for him.

Besides, girls love confidence. Just don't get cocky about it.

You probably know who Megan's friends are, so pick one you know won't say anything and ask her about Megan's status. But don't say anything to Megan unless you're sure she's single...you don't want to be the one to pull her away from another guy. She'll most likely go back.

But if you're a little nervous, it's ok. It's actually kind of cute. =]

Hope at least some of that helps!

No, as hard as it seems I think u should muster up the courage yourself. And from a (nice) girls point of view I find it much harder to say "no" to a guy when he asks me in person rather than when he writes a note or has someone else do it for him.

no getting someone else is so not mature...you have better experiences when you yourself do it. Is this guy really means something to you aske him out personally because it is so much more meaninful....if he says no it's ok there are tons of guys in this world. The plus side is that that way you dont have anyone witness if he says no so no one will know is he says no. If u really care do it urself.

From a female perspective, I would NEVER go out with a guy if his friend had to ask me on his behalf. Don't be such a chicken. If you want this girl to like you, take in a deep breath and go and talk to her first. She has to notice you first before she can decide if you're worth it. Be strong and good luck

I think you should just ask her your self cause if someone else does its easier for her to say no and gives her a reason to say no just walk up to her and tell her that you are going to the movies or something like that and ask if they want to go with you even if its just as friends.

Don't be a chicken poop by having someone else ask the person you want to go out with out... Do it yourself, or let it ride and don't do anything.

I think you should do it. If you have a friend do it then it shows your a chicken. Just do it yourself. It takes confiedence to ask a girl out. Good luck!

I think you should ask her yourself, because then she will know that you truely like her and that you like her enough to confront her.. and do it in person, instead of in a note.. Girls feel more special that way.. =]

They shouldn't ask her out for you. They could ask her how she feels about you and you take it from there.

ASK YOURSELF!
It's the best thing to do. Especially if it is a girl.
