If we have not significantly violated the rules of society and been imprisoned as a result, then we all have equal rights under the law. Whether each individual on earth recognizes our rights is another matter and this is the reality that stymies us and has a way of encasing our minds in needless guilt that can be cast aside only when we realize that NO ONE sits of a perch high enough to morally judge ANYONE. Every human being is going to check out of here one day and when that happens the only thing you will carry with you is your record. And that record will not contain an item-by-item account of carnal acts of any kind. The things that will matter are acts of sincere concern and heartfelt compassion that you extend toward the betterment of your fellow man. So, do you have rights? You bet you do, but more so, you have the right to greet each new day as an unblemished page in the book that will become your life and fill it with things that matter while living whatever lifestyle you choose.

Of course, I believe that gay people should have the same rights as anyone else.
I see it like this, what makes some heterosexuals believe that they are the only one that should have rights?
I am straight but I feel that everyone should have the same rights.
Also, leave others alone and mind your own buisness if you are gay or straight and we would have far less problems in this country.

Does your constitution say that being gay is a crime? if not then it seams to me that all that apply to heterosexual applies to non heterosexual. As far as mariage is concerned, it is first a civil contract. If you are talking about religious marriage, it is another set of rules that will apply depending on their position about homosexuality.

As an individual I say yes, as a couple I say no, there is no need for me to explain why you already know why.
