90% of the show is staged. the only real thing about it is the guy or girl and his or her ugly car that needs to be fixed. the rest is acting. u even see it sometimes during the credits when the show is over... u see xibit and the owner of the car go thru several takes to get a scene right. so no i don't think it ever happens that anyone is unsatisfied... either way, acting or not, i love what they do with the cars!

Hi there. It is forbidden by law to play anything either good or recognisable in such a vehicle. If anything more than a dull "boom-boom-boom" is heard and the driver doesn't look like a sad retard, the car is impounded. Cheers, Steve. PS Beethoven was German, it is Mozart or Strauss you are thinking of.

Part of the condition of having your car pimped is that you've got to jump around like a chimp on acid, whooping like an idiot or they wont fit a waterfall in the back of your motor and a pottery wheel.

I think they always act like they like it... I mean no matter what your car is going to be worth a lot more, and it's decked out with tvs and such. Even though it may be tacky, they can sell it for a lot or keep it and look cool. They feel obligated to be polite. Just watch for subtle signs of confusion or disappointment.

I remember in season 1 or 2 when they screwed up.... I mean "Pimped" a girl's car. The colors really didn't go together. You could see it in her face that she was disappointed. Priceless!!
