Humans exist because the huamn form is particularly suited to the earth (so are the other creatures sharing the planet with us).
We have evolved into this shape and are still evolving; hopefully the damage we are doing to the earth doesn't change the environment so much as to making human existence so tough that we no longer exist in a few hundreds of years. But then we'd deserve it, wouldn't we?
On an individual level, each one of us gives meaning to his or her own life. The meaning of our life is the meaning we give it. Whether that meaning comes from some religion, some dream, or anything else, that's the meaning to us. Others might decide that there is no meaning apart from reproduction - perpetuation of the species, or others might think that searching for The Meaning is the meaning of their lives. It doesn't matter, it's still and always a personal choice.

Humans evolved through the process of natural selection, in which the ones who were most fit to survive and reproduce lived and passed down their genes. Therefore their is no real meaning for human existence, human existence did not come forth for a reason but rather it came forth out of natural selection. This can be interpreted by some, however, that the meaning of human existence is to survive.

Don't know! Don't really care!
It's learning life's lessons and finding meaning to my own life that is important, to me.
I don't believe we are just here by some random chance and survival of the fittest as the Evolutionists say as that doesn't explain why we have powers of reasoning greater than other creatures! I also see no reason for evolving a brain 90% bigger than we use!
If there is a reason or meaning to existence I think it will be answered when I leave this life.
After all I spent years at school learning subjects without knowing why I should and seeing no reason I'd need them after I left school.

Many problems in the world are bred from the problem that humans think there IS a meaning to human existence. The truth (to me) is that we are here purely by chance (very small chance), and that we believe we are significant when we are not. The world would still be spinning, the stars would still be shining, if we were not here. Sad but true.

human existence is a social concept in wich we live and die, with cultures, ethnies, religions and beliefs. But beyond all this , something is remaining: your own reality, your own way of feeling this life trough your body in mind. Mental diseases are a social concept, something that is not in social values will be judged as a crazy thing,non-common, and to be rejected, why? Nobody is perfectly alert and clear mind, we all experiences fear sadness hanger and so many things, life is not easy but looking to the night sky, to the milky way, is part of the answer, dont forget, if you live a glass house you cannot pitch rocks from it, i think everything is a balance, a balance for peace of the mind and peace of the body, you will meat the god, there is one, i think he wants from us a large work of spirituality. Human existence is the light and the way to go until we show us a new one, only god will do so. Hope its helping you a little bit. Keep dreaming and love , you will be more than happy in your life.

A human form serves the same purpose as every other physical form in the universe; a vehicle inhabited by a soul, (aka a ‘self’).
Insomuch as a physical form is necessary to benefit from the wealth of lessons available only in this existence.
Physical forms evolve, simply because evolving souls require ever more sophisticated forms to inhabit to support their improving abilities.

I sometimes get very confused. Then I reach an epiphany! Life is experiencing the sheer joy of the realization that Marilyn Manson is known by more people than Earnest Hemingway. I have taken life much too seriously! Life is but a joke...

I don't see any reason why it should have meaning in the sense of a god-given purpose. But, you are certainly free to give your life whatever meaning you want. I think that's much better than having a meaning forced upon you.
