I'm black part native american and i'm part asian but i dunno if it shows in me..some people say it does.....people are quick to say that i look hispanic mostly by hispaincs...they say i look houndorian, cuban, and dominican;and even black people say that i look it and i feel like people don't except me as being just black. i guess cuz i'm part two things it must be very dominant but i'm so used to looking at myself i don't see anything different in my face and i think i look black, and when a boy in my class said that he was the only black person in my class i felt left out and he claimed without even asking me if i was hispanic or not,and many black people where i live don't claim hispanics as being black even if they say they are ,i feel like they don't think i look black;sometimes i try to cut me hair short or stop having me hair curly cuz of that...and try to darken my skin a little cuz its redish-yellow;i'm partically red so i standout from alotta black people dut to brown skin.

I think you should just love yourself regardless. I think anyone who get defensive to someone of their race because they feel you don't look like them, ought to grow up and realize that people just don't look the same all the time, or have the exact skin color as many. Because I have long hair, people mistake me for being either Dominican or half Puerto Rican, or half Indian, and I tell them I'm black, the next thing they say is "Wow, you have long hair." I don't like that statement, because black women do get stereotyped for not having good hair, or long hair, but I deal with it, and I love who I am. We can have long hair, the thing is, our genetics, our hair grows differently like others, and we use too many chemicals that causes it to break off. I don't, and long hair runs in my family anyway.

Plus, if you are mixed, be proud of both your races. Because some people who are black and mixed with something else want to consider themselves black, especially if they live around many black people. It shouldn't matter their opinion of you. You are who you are and should love it, people would eventually respect that more.

Blacks no longer only have been denied the priesthood that each and each 12 year boy gets, they could no longer return to carry on with God in the Mormon Celestial Kingdom. He curiously did no longer want to work out them in accordance to Mormon theology. advantageous attempt at spinning this actuality. Mormons will continuously attempt to distract you from the certainty. you have fairly neglected the better area. do you be attentive to WHY they think of to procure the curse? this is via fact they have self belief there grew to become right into a substantial preexistence. until eventually now we've been all born, we've been all together in heaven with God. there grew to become right into a huge conflict up there (how do you have a conflict without actual bodies?), and the souls took facets. those that sided with the devil have been given the curse. that ought to be you. i'm sorry. I hated writing that. The further you look into Momronism the greater it stinks. Blacks have been taken care of very badly. The LDS church took slaves as tithing. Utah grew to become right into a slave state. I ask for forgiveness for my ancestors. I wish sometime the LDS church might ask for forgiveness too, yet they by no skill have. this is style of a chortle they think of you're no longer Black. maximum Mormons be attentive to so few Blacks they forget approximately that they exist.

I understand where you are coming from. I'm of mixed heritage too. Black, Native American, and Irish. I've always been considered black. I'm 41 years old. When I was in elementary school, the students used to tease me, they called me "Indian Breath" and went around saying that I was going to scalp people and shoot them with a bow and arrow. When I got to Junior High, the students called me "China Woman" and also in high school. I live in a mostly Latino neighborhood now and some people think that me and my husband are Latino. My husband says that they think that I'm Dominican. I wouldn't worry about it. Just be the best person that you can be.

Take this from someone who has lived a while. Accept your self and do not worry about what others think or say. It sounds to me as if you are caring about how others see you instead of how you see yourself. You are multi-cultural, do not try to pin-point one and stick to that, enjoy the variety that make you the lovely young lady that you are. Darkening your skin and cutting your hair is for others, don't do it. Love your self. You sound like a beautiful young lady.

You just answered your own question. You are black, native american and asian. What's wrong with being multiracial, having a little bit of everything in you.

What? Balck people are every shade from very pale white skins to ebony black. Our hairy is anywhere from kinky, frizzy to straight. Just be who you are and tell people if you think they do not know. I am brown and my mother was light complexion with long red hair. Most of us have mixed heritage. Work with it.

Girlfriend, who you know you are, and who you identify yourself as being, is what matters. People tend to go by their preconceived ideas of what a person of a certain genetic stock "look" like, but their view isn't what matters. If someone labels you one thing, you have full right to just say "Sorry, I'm actually..." Just smile as you say it and go on with your day. ; )

you most certainly can identify as black if you choose to.you are bi racial...as many of us are,and the color of your skin does not define how black you are.....don't let other people tell you how you should be..in this world...many natives have black blood .there is so much history there I can't tell you all...just be yourself..............and enjoy all of your roots.....

No matter what you look like you are not Black. And I don't think you should let people or yourself refer to you as Black. You are denying other parts of your identity. I am mixed and don't like it or let people call me Black and you shouldn't either. If people want to label you let them label your correctly and not by the color of your skin or appearance

How do you identify yourself? That's all that matters. Seeking acceptance is a pointless and quite futile effort.
