YES, it depends how much you are starting the bid at? you always pay a small fee to list an item on ebay but it can be as little as a few cents a cell phone maybe around $60-$100 would cost around $5 or $6 maybe just a guess.
They will let you know all that you are being charged for before you finish though....no hidden fees, they lay it out for you.
P.S. To get your full money's worth put a little extra on shipping cost. eBay customers dont care how much they got to pay for shipping as long as they get what they want. I use to sell alot on there so I know.

Yes you do have to pay to sell items on ebay. There are two mandatory fees, which when selling a cell phone will probably be under a dollar or two and doesn't have to be paid until the item sells. The two fees are 1) Insertion fee, and 2) Final Value Fee (only charged if item sells). There are other optional fees if you choose to use which are charged for more than one picture, listing upgrades, and things of that nature. Keep in mind, if your product doesn't sell there is a free relist policy. Check out the link I provided, it will take you directly to the page you need. God Bless!

I don't usually pay much attention to the actual figures, but YES, you do have to pay to sell something. The listing iteself usually costs upwards of a dollar (depends on how many things you want...for example, a picture of the item on the list page, or a fancy background, etc.). In order to sell, you have to give eBay your credit card number, and then they will charge it for whatever you sell at the end of the month.
You also then have to pay a final value fee. They take a percentage of the winning bid and charge you that percentage as well.

what you will need to do is you need to have an account on ebay you will need to fill out an online form in order to sell your item and you will need to have your credit card provided to pay a fee in order to sell your item and the fee for selling an item depending on how much you sell your item and how you want your ads on ebay to look. if you want more than one photo to be inserted than you have to pay a fee to have more than one hoto inserted. to start selling your item your cell phone you will need to catergorize it and write a description and what the minuim bid and you can have you item listed for 3,5,7 or ten days for extra fee. Okay after people buy your item than you need to make sure you send the item on time you only have three dayw ot send the item or else you are in trouble. if it highly recommend that you set up a pay pal account so the seller can pay you right away.

You have to pay depending on how much your starting price is. Last time I sold something, if you start out at .99, the price is about .25 cents...........
If your cell phone is fairly new, it should go for much more than the starting price. Look your phone up on eBay and see what theyre going for. Then you can go from there.

How much you have to pay is based on how much you sell your item for. Usually it is not much more than a $1 or so.

Yes! With a photo it cost about $2.40 to list and then if you sell, you pay a little more, depending on how much it sells for.

This depends on the features you choose.
I haven't sold anything on ebay for a long time, but when I did you got charged for the following.
1) flat fee (only like $1)
2) Pictures
3) how visible you want your ad
There may have been a couple of variables that I don't remember, but it was still very cheap.

Yes, it costs to list an item. There are many factors needed as to "how much?"
Log on to ebay... it will walk you through fees. It all depends on how much you want to list it for.
