They can. If they are willing to turn their life around and
show friends and everyone proof that they have changed... then someone will hire them.
But there are Criminals that don't want professional job anyway.

Number one; Person convicted of a White collar crime " Felony" wasn't that good to have been caught. Maybe if they publish the story, write a book and go on a Lecture tour.
Chances are poor unless they had connections with Enron.

It's going to be tough. Best bet would be to go into business for himself, but getting insurance would be tough.
Felony conviction of any kind can be hard. I would need a very good reason to hire someone with a felony, not just misdemeanor.
After some time, you can say, that was when I was a different person years ago, and I'm different now, with this background.
