Yes -- but they're more likely to take a bath every day. Showers aren't so common due to the use of safer low pressure hot water systems.

Not all women have long armpit hair, but a majority do. It's widely socially acceptable for women not to shave body hair. Virtually all have full genital hair. A majority have full armpit hair. A large minority have hairy legs. It's not all unusual in many parts of Europe to find girls and women with male-type moustache growth. In some parts of Europe girls with a moustache are considered more attractive, on the ground that with their higher testosterone levels they're likely to be keener on and better at the physical side of a relationship, much more likely to orgasm as a male does and more likely to have sufficient development of the paraurethral glands to ejaculate. For a girl to be more masculine is considered an advantage by many European males. The males themselves are different too, of course, in that virtually none are circumcised.

I just attended a seminar in Pittsburgh with the theme "One World One People." Our culture is a little different here in the States. Yes, it is not uncommon for European women to go unshaven under their arms. As far as cleanliness goes it would be wrong to say they only shower once a week. This holds true except for the French. A French speaker actually shared with the audience that French people are very unconcerned about personal hygene and are the most unclean Europeans there are. Lack of self esteem was his thoughts on the reason for their negligence of cleanliness.

I don't know about the shower, but the long armpit hair on women is simply gross, it has been known that cleanliness is not a strong point with Europeans, it was filth that caused the black plague, we have some Europeans where I live and I have found their body odour can make your eyes water, it wouldn't surprise me if they only washed once a week.

Im a five minute wonder in the shower and Im female. The woman you are talking about sounds like high maintinance. Get in the shower, do youre thing, get out. I like a guy to be the same. Clean bathroom and do washing on weekends, if bothered and just enjoy life. Who cares about a mouldy spot on the tiles!
