Only b) He did indeed set aside lands as national parks. And he mediated the Russo-Japanese war of 1905.
He did not create the League of Nations. That was long after his time. Women did not get the vote until 1920 or so.

The only correct answer is "B".
1. A is wrong because Woodrow Wilson fought for the League of Nations NOT Roosevelt.
2. C is wrong because expansion under imperialism had stopped by TR's time
3. D is wrong because women could not vote until 1920 and he was only elected in 1904.

I think all of these things are good reasons. Pay attention to things that directly relate to life in the USA and living conditions there I think too-See if there is a DC website about the wonderful memorial he has there. He was a educated, intellectual whose beliefs he backed up with action- that means alot in leadership.

A seems best to me because it seems to be about him personally as opposed to just referring to happenings during his administration.
