I don't get into many fights either, but I HATE to forgive. It makes me feel all good and holy...
Does anyone feel this way? Do you have any idea as to why I feel this way?

I'm not really a good and holy person...i'm a teeny bit more on the bad side. But i'm kind of in the middle. I'm a nice person, people like me, but I have a wild, devilish streak♥

Maybe you just have a complex about wanting to keep up a bad girl image (not that there is anything wrong with that). ; )

The icky feeling is the "more you, less me" instead of the "more me, less you"
Forgiving does not mean forgetting...it means just not being able to hold the grudge against them any longer.
It means "letting it go".

Maybe you simply dont think that that person deserves your forgiveness. I have had grudges on people that i wanted to keep my grudge but because i needed them for something, i forgave them and i didnt like it

Your afraid they'll do it all over again, and that scares you. But it's OK, it's only natural. If you feel you need more time to forgive someone, you should take your time. Always measure your options.

Well....It might mean you don't like that person... I don't know. If there is someone that makes me feel sick I stay away from them. If they are a family member I'm good to them but don't play buddy buddy with them. I guess you don't like that person.

Sometimes I feel like that too!!
I usually just don't say anything and we end up talking the next day like nothing ever happened.
I don't really know why you feel that way

because you believe you're right and they're wrong. but they won't admit it. so you concede to them instead.
either that or you have a jacked up sense of humility.
