Some of them are just so bad, that there is no way they can actually beleive they are any good, especially the ones the have on the best of the worst. Does anyone else think that these are hired actors, hired to make a fool of themselves to entertain us, and to get better ratings? i know for myself, i only watch the show when they first start it, to see all the really bad ones.

It is definintely possibe now that you mention it. I mean you would think that some of them that get bashed so badly would flip out or go hysterical from the insults, but yet they all seem to have just a simple, sad smirk on their face and walk off, maybe sometimes throwing in a line here and there, but a lot of it does seem fake.

No i think of there rather are quite some actually undesirable singers obtainable. you will no longer have self belief the quantity of folk with households that stuff them with quite some fake compliment. inspite of the incontrovertible fact that, some contestants do dress up and sing undesirable on purpose for the exposure. The screening technique that occurs until eventually now contestants ever attain the judges enable a number of those untalented auditions by using for entertainment sake. So i think everyone seems to be getting that they want

That's interesting. It seems like a lot of shows will do whatever it takes to bring up ratings and grasp an audience. I doubt American Idol would be this popular without the crappy singers.

I don't know about them actually "hiring" people to do it. But I think some of the people just act as stupid and as awful as they can, just so they can get on TV. They think that since it worked for William Hung, that it will work for them and they will become famous! So, I don't buy that they are THAT awful, but there are some really bad ones on there.

No. Apparently there are thousands of people that show up for each of the auditions. They're sorted out by staffers and audition for many, many staffers. The ones that actually show up in front of Simon & co. on TV have been handpicked to show up for the TV audition. Truth is stranger than fiction. Out of the thousands that show up, there are a handful of really talented ones that go on and a handful of real nut-jobs. These are the folks you see on your TV screen.

somehow the auditions or whatever they call them have to be set up somehow, people are paid or as you say actors..some type of ploy to get people talking and eventually people watching for ratings..has to be because if you are a crappy singer you know it

The Show Is a Fraud. The people go through REAL judges before going on camera. A funny fraud.
