if the puny minions of earth were fooled into hating one single person on your planet would it eventualy unify the entire population of earth and bring about world peace and a new world order?

I am not talking about promoting hate for race only hatred for one single individual without power.

Hatred in any form does not equal any type of peace. Manipulation is what causes wars and detrement to others---silly question

Manipulating the weakinto hate is somethingthat happens all the time. Getting the manipulated to project their hate towards a single individual is also easy.
However this will not bring peace.
It will not be possible to hate just 1 person, but also the people around him/her. If that person were a head of state, say somewhere in the Middle East, then the people in that country would also be hated to a degree.
In the case above, the situation would soon escalate into a war. What happens afterwards? It will not be peace, we'd be simply back to square one, before the hate started. But we'd have destroyed many people in the meantime.
If the person hated were a billionnaire for example, the war would take a different form. Hate cannot remain as a unifying force without escalation. If nothing isbeing done to stem the hated one, then the manipulated will turn against theirleaders for incompetence, and start a war within.
Imagine if hate was directed towards some alien from outer space. Then it would definitely unify the world population. But again, what would happen? We'd have to fight, and what happens even if we win? Who will be the next target?
Hate cannot be the unifying force to lead to peace. It's at most a distraction that comes with a heavy price.

Can't remember who said it but it's true.
your planet must be a very boring place if you all think alike all the time. Do you all look alike too?
What will bring about peace on this one isn't Love or Hate but Acceptance. We need to be able to accept the fact we are all humans and accept the fact we are all different. No two people on this planet are exactly alike physically not even identical twins! They just share the same DNA! And no two people think alike about everything and never will!

If you want to help this world achieve World Peace... and you can fly here. Why not just contact us?? Tell us you exist. Teach us about the Universe... teach us new technology. Disprove or prove Religions.
You can unify our world by unlocking the answers that Man has been seeking since the beginning of our existence.
With that said... No I don't think your plan would work.

No, because it wouldn't take long for that person to be dead and the world needing to blame someone/something else. However, think there's any way we can all blame the inhabitants on the furthest planet for all of our woes? And we can all try to work together for hundreds of years to destroy that planet?
I'm not sure our attention span is that long? How long was it for the Iraq war? less than a year or 2??

Any government that could successfully do such a thing would be powerful enough that it would inevitably wage war against its own people. Political executions, concentration camps and so on. There would be no real peace for the citizens.

No, but revealing the presence of a malignant extraterrestrial intelligence might go a long way towards inducing some nations to put aside their disputes to unify against the common foe - at least, so long as they actually believe it, and only until they think the enemy is defeated.

yes but why does the world have to be unified through hatred, it could just as easily be unified through LOVE. Love of Jesus for instance.
I think the only thing that will unify the world is love of MONEY, unfortunately.

The world leaders keep trying to do that (tho not for WORLD peace. perhaps peace for their bank balances) but some people can't be fooled.
