WD-40 This is a spray on penetrating oil that helps loosen rusted or frozen bolts / screws. There are other products that do the same thing that cost less then WD-40 and can be found at ACE hardware stores.

penetrant

good brands are liquid wrench
and I think the other is called PB Blaster

a penetrant and a lubricant are different types of oils, one solution cannot be best at both.
a penetrant breaks up corrosion and thins goopy oil
a lubricant stays on the part and protects it.

WD-40 is ideal for Water Displacement and general lubrication.
Liquid Wrench or other brands of Penetrating Oil are best for rusty screws.

The most excellent product is from Kano Labs = KROIL. (I hide it from my kids.)

Penetrating oil. This is sold under many names. Some of the best is sold by ZEP and is called Twister. The MOPAR penetrating oil sold at Chrysler corporation dealers is also very good!!
