Just thinking of what world peace would mean for EVERYONE is such an emotional thing! This is a no-brainer. We would all be so much richer in so many ways. And that includes money.

Simple, if you had 50 million just out of the blue like that you wouldn't have a lot of peace in your world. Example, you would start getting a lot of strange phone calls and occasionally you would have someone you've never met walk up to you and tell you long tales of how they're your grand dad's brother's nephew's first cousin's step son's adopted dog's relative. Just saying, it happens.
So, I'll stick with world peace

In response to that guy who said that World Peace would ruin innovative technological development.... WHAT?
With the world at peace, EVERY country would come together on new ideas for making the human existence more complete! Instead of spending billions making spy satellites and super stealth rockets, we could be spending billions on schools and finding a cure to Cancer.
:o)
I would pick World Peace.

$50 million dollars. World peace can only happen for milliseconds before it's broken....$50 million dollars can last for my life (and beyond).
Plus really cool technology/innovation comes out of an unstable world. In a stable world, we'd have little need for advanced research and topping each other on a big scale (like space colonization). We wouldn't have supersonic flight, the internet (it started as a DARPA project), many of our most powerful super computers, we wouldn't have gone to the moon, have a global GPS system, many of our medical devices, the field of aerodynamics would not be anywhere near as far, same with autonomous robotics...

World peace, just for something different. We've done the money hungry method for centuries now and it doesn't work. I'd like to see what would happen with world peace.
