I would have when I was a teenager but not now since I came to terms with my true sexual orientation and have been living my live the way I should have been living it all along instead of living a lie like I did for so many years!
Guys this is a very good question and I will tell you why!
When I was a teenager I thought I was the only male in the whole world that felt the way I did - I mean having sexual feelings for other males. I grew up in a family and even a society that did not educate anybody on the fact that there was a group of poeple out there who loved (in a sexual way) others of the same sex.
I can remember at 17 years old going to prayer meeting with my mom and just between me and God asking Him to make me like everybody else! I really believed in God that much in those days that I believed He could change me, I believed that God was the only way for me to change. Because I did pray so ernestly and because I believed that God answers prayers especially reasonable prayers - I mean I wasn't asking for a million dollars, I just wanted to have feeling for girls like all of my friends! He never granted my prayer request so becasue of that I seriously believe that God made me gay, God wanted me to be gay and continues to want me to be gay, there is a purpose under heaven for everything including my sexual orientation.
I think the question is a good one because back then if there was a pill YES I WOULD have taken it. Now, NO WAY - because I have been 'out' of the closet for a number of years and compared to my life when I was living a lie - this life is much, much better! *hugs* JAC<

It sounds by your tone that you are asking this as a serious question, so I will give you a serious answer. I love being me but I think that if there was a pill that would make me straight and I'd never have to worry about people judging me for being a lesbian, I would take it to make life easier. However, I would only take it if there was also a pill to keep people from hurting me about my weight, looks, or any other factor. Being a lesbian makes my life hard, but so do all the other things that practically everyone has to deal with. So my answer is yes and no. I would take it but with conditions.

I CAN SAY I WOULD NTO TAKE IT BECASUE ALTHOUGH BEING A LESBIAN BRINGS ABOUT ALOT OF NEGATIVITY FOR ME IN MY LIFE I STILL DONT THINK I WOULD TAKE IT. tHE FACT OF THE MATTER IS THAT ALTHOUGH BEIGN A LESBIAN COMES WITH ITS NEGATIVITY AND HATRED FROM OTHERS ABOUT THE SEXUAL ORIENTATION. YOU CAN THINK THAT U CAN CHANGE WHO YOU ARE BUT IN ALL REALITY YOU CANT. ITS WHO YOU ARE. SO WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU TAKE THE PILL THINKING THAT IT WILL MAKE U STRAIGHT. BUT THE VERY NEXT MIN, HOUR, OR DAY YOU HAVE THE SAME THOUGHT PROCESS OF BEING LOVED BY A WOMAN SO ITS NOTHING THAT CAN BE CHANGED BY A PILL I DONT BELIEVE. ITS WHO YOU ARE AND THE FACT OF THE MATTER IS IF YOU CAN ACCEPT IT OR DENY IT TO TRY AND BE STRAIGHT.

My wife and I have been together nearly 9 years. We have an amazing life together. We are having the time of our lives raising our daughter together. We have rewarding careers and a great circle of friends.

Why would I take a pill to make that all go away?
That would be worse than taking cyanide.

That's like asking: If there was a pill to make you more tolerant of others would you take it?

since I am straight already, hell no!

No way! I am with the love of my life, my soul mate. If I was straight, I never would have met her and I am happier than I have ever been in my life.

I would have before I met my current fiance. Now I'm thankful that we're both gay. Love makes all the discrimination seem not so bad.

No, if there was a pill to make you gay, would you take it?

Never. Even though it would be more beneficial to do so in the eyes of society. Bowing down to bigots is something I will never do.
