HONEST ANSWERS PLEASE
Do you read all answers before voting or do you just pick one of the first answers?
Do you vote to get points or do you really care?
The reason I ask is, while I was voting I noticed that most all answers that were first responses got most of the votes. In most cases there was a better or more informative answer as I scrolled down.

I read all of the answers and choose the one I like best. I've noticed the same thing...the first answer has the most votes, but many times does not deserve Best Answer.

I read all the answers and pick the best answer. If a person answers the question and another person comes along with a longer answer, I vote for the short answer. The deal is to answer the question, not see how many words you can use in doing so.

I usually read them all. Sometimes if there is more than one page I will only read the first page, though. But I do choose the answer that I think is best. And sometimes I've decided not to vote at all on the answers because I didn't feel that any of them deserved to be chosen as "best".

I read about the first 15 after that I go back up the page and find an answer. I'm not going to read through 20 or 30 answers. Anyway, by that time they're usually repeat answers anyway.

I noticed that also when i vote so i read all the answers. some of the Real Long ones i just skip, because they are cut and paste. they could give the site URL and be done.
I vote because i care. If we do not vote we would never get all the points

I vote best answer accordingly, I read all answers, and if you notice first answer is always quite stupid because they are in a race to be first, why I don't know.
