That is a pretty selfish question. You think you are the only one with problems? See all the other responses and that is a small portion of the problems that COULD exist, but there are many many MANY other. Get passed your own issues and realize that many people in the world have it much worse than you. Geesh.

You betcha. Have you ever seen a man out of rehab looking for work in a small town that knows him? Then having the cops over his shoulder all the time and his own mother keeps tabs on him through the cops. Then his girlfriend who has successfully sued him for child support confesses that the kid is actually his father's kid and still wants him to be the dad as long as her girlfriend can still live with them. And it was her girlfriend who got him hooked in the first place and is still dealing. But he has to stay there because his sponser won't be there for him if he doesn't have an address. His mother won't let him live at home and his estranged father won't have anything to do with him so his brother will give him a room for half his welfare cheque but wants two months up front and he doesn't even have half a months worth of rent yet.He has one friend in another town some forty miles away but the guys married with a new kid and no room for him so he has to take his ex girlfriends offer to stay there with the dealer that hooked him under the eyes of the cops and feed the kid that is actually his half brother from his father's philandering.
NOW??? how mixed up is that???

Well Zig-Zag we all go through times in our lives that are either confusing or seem like the end of the world. In the big picture of things however there are truly people with a lot worse off positions than majority of us. Imagine being a young suicide bomber on Iraq or a child dying of Aids in Africa and it makes our problems look pretty minute in the big scheme of things.

One day I looked down and realized my shoes looked terrible with my outfit. I was pretty irritated for a minute, because there was no way to change them, etc. Then it hit me; What if I had no shoes at all?! What if I had no food or shelter, or anyone that cared about me? Too many people face these situations and worse every day. It made me grateful to be where I am.

Life can get pretty odd at different times in our lives but it is at those odd times we should call on our LORD JESUS to deliver us. We can always ask him for guidance, and pray his will be done in our lives. You may also want to pray for strength to accept his will, regardless of it's outcome.
